Hi Krishna
I am using Mandriva 2005, and the blue screen with the logo is the
default background for the GUI login prompt. (not the blue screen of
death!)
I am using the UNIVERSAL boot flloppy and the IP address is assigned,
the kernel is loaded  Everything boots in order, but then hangs at
this point. The monitors are HP 1024 D2813 . I tried using Runlevel=3
and the same thing happens!
