eerrrr... you lost me here...host? Are you meaning thin client?

Which distro? Tried with Firewall / SELinux disabled? Does the print
job land up in queue? Is your client having fixed IP through dhcp
everytime? and is reverse lookup working (usually by use of
IP/Hostname pairs in /etc/hosts) ?

HP-Laserjet4 works nicely as printer for our network attached to a
thin client (host?).
