You lucky dog, iMac Bondi (puke green color, otherwise known as bondi blue) are
the
easiest to get going. The default xorg.conf in K12LTSP PPC tree boots these
out of the
box. I'll see if I have an older K12LTSP server with that on, otherwise google
that or
get someone on the [EMAIL PROTECTED] list to send it to you.

You put the file in /opt/ltsp/ppc/etc and name it XF86Config.yourcustom (or
whatever you
want). You can put 100 of these in there. Then in lts.conf you call out
custom options
to each machine, you can use the machine name or Mac address like so:
[00:03:93:92:88:98]
XSERVER = ati
XF86CONFIG_FILE = XF86Config.yourcustom
I've seen some not need the XSERVER setting, but I've needed it in the past.
Try it and
set it to any legitimate XSERVER setting, it won't work without it, but will
load the
correct settings from your config file. If that doesn't work, try commenting
it out.
Craig White I believe is on this list, he just went through a bunch of fun
getting this
working. Dig up his email and I'll bet he can tell you exactly what to put in
your
lts.conf to get it going, he could probably send you all the config files you
need as
well. He could probably quick send you the list of commands to set the Mac
firmware to
boot LTSP by default. Craig, sorry if I am over volunteering your help :-) I
just know
you finally had this all working and as you know my instructions from memory
aren't
always exact.

Yeah, it ain't fun the first time. K12LTSP has the PPC tree included now by
default.
If you install K12LTSP, you hold down the N key on startup, and with the out of
the box
setup your Bondi would be running. There is also an XF86Config-4.indigo file
included
in the default tree that boots Indigo, and Blueberry iMacs and Tangerine,
Blueberry and
Indigo iBooks by default.
Hope this helps.
