Scenario a) Original xorg.conf from kiwi-ltsp prebuilt image DELL Precison M90 as client X works just fine IBM Thinkpad (anyone) (ATI), screen flashes in character mode with a message (barely readable, flashes too quick) "W: main.c: setrlimit(RLIMIT_NICE,(31,31)) failed: Operation not permitted" Scenario b) A xorg.conf from the IBM machine (created by SuSE 10.3) DELL Precision M90 as client X broken like above, flashing IBM Thinkpad X works just fine Is this info of any help? Of course the solution to this is to specify which xorg.conf to use; stating this in lts.conf as per instructions. -- -------------------------------------------- Med venlig hilsen/best regards Verner Kjærsgaard Novell Certified Linux Professional 10035701 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sponsored by: SourceForge.net Community Choice Awards: VOTE NOW!
