Hi I have been running into some issue with LTSP on Ubuntu 8.04. Initially the tuxpaint application was taking 100% CPU but I found a workaround.
Now, I seem to have the following issues: 1) Reboot of the sometimes requires a reboot of the clients it looks like nbd loses the connection 2) Stray user process stay running 3) Java sometimes takes 100% CPU 4) FireFox crashes more often than I would like 5) It sometimes works fine for 10 minutes or so but grinds to a halt Has anyone worked around these sort of issue? Should I simply move up to 8.10? Also, when I used K12LTSP in the past, I believe some applications were automatically "niced" to avoid issues like this. Has anyone done that with Ubuntu?
