The test situation was to log in, start firefox, see the webpage of http://de.yahoo.com and log out. The results (traffic on the client side): With Compression: RX=24kB, TX=20kB Without Compression: RX=450kB, TX=54kB The CompressionLevel was 3, but I still do not know if it matters. We couldn't notice any difference in 'feeling', but we didn't use any measurement device. It is just our subjective impression.
