Try adding:

DNS_SERVER=
SEARCH_DOMAIN=

to your lts.conf with the appropriate values.  the client gets its IP
info using ipconfig in the initramfs, and although I have seen a patch
to update the resolv.conf with that info, I don't think it ever made it
into the upstream code.
