I'm certain that I can make the monitors work, so this is not an anguished cry
for help. One MB is doing an EDID probe and getting answers, one is not
getting answers.
Adding parameters or not makes no difference to the generated Xorg.7.log file.

Is there a trick to getting the lts.conf parameters recognised.

Repeat the above for context:

http://sourceforge.net/apps/mediawiki/ltsp/index.php?title=Ltsp_LtsConf

'If the X_MODE_x entries are not specified, then the built-in resolutions and
modelines will be used.'

BUT my problem is X_MODE_x entries ARE specified and the built-in resolutions
and modelines are used.

James
