Hello,
For the past month or so, my clients audio has been randomly dying. It does
not return until they reboot.
Details:
LTS - Ubuntu 9.10 (fully updated)
Chroot - Ubuntu 9.10 (fully updated)
The clients are using the rdesktop screen script and connecting to a Windows
2008 Terminal Server.
In testing I've done this:
1. verified sound=false in lts.conf
2. full updates the server and chroot
3. taken extra connection options out of the rdp string in lts.conf (removed
-z -x l -P, pasted whats left on it below)
RDP_OPTIONS = "-a 16 -r sound:local:alsa -r
disk:drives=/media/root -d crutcho -u ''"
Gadi has just suggested in ltsp chat, to try and upgrade the sound card
drivers. I will start work on that as I wait a response from this.
Thank you and have a nice day!
Trey Hunsucker
