So I tried Opensuse/Edu and to my surprise the same issue. I went back to 11.4 and succeeded at once. Now I have a dual boot installation of 11.4 and 12.1 on the same machine, and 12.1 runs fine now, but I needed the changes described. My 12-1-install was a very simple install of the normal 64-bit DVD. I just added two repositories, principally the same as I had before. I wonder if you did something different... You do use the precompiled image from the LTSP-Repository? Best regards, Gerhard Damerau
