Please don't use the mailing list for sending patches, use bug reports instead (https://bugs.launchpad.net/ltsp).
In /usr/share/ltsp/init-ltsp.d/03-kernel-cmdline the kernel command line is read, and all parameters that start from ltsp.XXX get exported as XXX environment variables.
