I will certainly try the provided link live cd on tc's to see if video comes up.

Also worth noting while the tc is booting,,,shortly before the screen briefly flickers then dies i do see a line ' sed could not find /etc/rc.locale file'. Am assuming the is sed writing a new line to rc.local file? Could this possibly have something to do with video probs?

Also noticed at client login the system time is incorrect. Pretty sure the time was correct out of the box on Debian Jessie/ltsp setup.
