*SOLVED*
Got the video display not coming up on five client machines resolved.
In the /tftpboot/ltsp/[arch}/pxelinux.cfg/default file
Removed the 'quiet' & added 'nomodeset'.
For completeness these machines are 8-10 year old machines cept one is a 3
year old dell Optiplex 780 so a pretty recent machine in the mix as well.
Resolution looks 'normal' now on each client.
Not sure why this is,but works. tried a couple videos on client and video
is liquid as it should be.
Not sure how to confirm what driver is being used as putting some
SCREEN_0x in the lts.conf file seems dodgey. The ssh screen works ok but
shell will not work? Have tried juggling screen numbers on these but only
the ssh screen will display.( on screen2) ?
Also a question when i log into the ssh screen on TC i am sitting in the
actual server,,,not the client chroot. Is this correct.? Been so long
since i've messed with this i'm not sure. In past have always used shell to
try and get some real time client info,,which wont display for some reason.
Hope this helps someone.
Thanks for replies.
