Maybe we should just call it lucene.apache.org, and move the current 
Lucene project to lucene.apache.org/java?  The other projects we imagine 
adding (Nutch, DotLucene, CLucene, etc.) are all Lucene-related, no? 
Lucene has a pretty good brand name...
