lug_: Because this is a Linux list

Gents, Ladies,

 A few stray cats have made it into the hen house, to cries of "This is 
a hen house please!" And rightly too. (In both senses!)

 Given the moderate success of LUG (thanks to Stompie/Kiggs for initial 
work), perhaps it is time we really got this UG discussions lists 
concept off the ground in a bigger way. Any one for a databases list? 
What about a general Sysadmins list? And (horror) a Windows list?
LUG has shown that discussions lists do help improve us all in our use 
and appreciation of Linux and issues related.

 So, those with servers and bandwidth, can we hear from you? Donations 
any one? As a prematurely greying, used-to-be database junkie, I shall 
offer to host such there is interest.
