hey...i think we are missing the point here.....what we want is a connectivity to the IX, in a manner that an IX deserves. we need a cheap way to connect to it as well......SpaceNet have clearly said that they would LOVE to be at the IX but do not want to do it through the leased line....they already have a fibre network around the CBD...if we could all get a connection and assuming that we set up the IX at their premises...then that would make for great speeds to and fro the IX.....and a better location for the IX.
one thing that we are trying to run away from is the mess at communications house.....if spacenet have the capability of handling it, then may be we can consider them an option (hmmm im talking as though its concesus we are moving out of communications house :-| )
