You dont get it do u ? Who said anything of suse going closed source,
suse is an upstream packager of open source packages, if these
packages are released under more restictive licences, suse will have
no option but to fork the older packages that are currently under the

The link I posted was to show you that openSUSE is actually a community
effort despite your claims to the contrary.
I guess u are not current in all the going on's of the patent
agreements between M$ and novell these agreements will require certain
oblications of the contributers which are incompartable with GPL. Any
fool knows that no contributions can go into openSUse without novell
giving the Node.
Naturally, Novell's sponsorship of the project & the fact that most of the
core developers work for SuSE GmbH which is owned by Novell Inc, means that
there is as much a tie-in between Novell & SuSE as there is between RedHat &
Fedora Core.

SuSE & the supporters of Novell. If you want to attack SuSE as a Linux-based
operating system then please do. Take politics elsewhere.
