may be we should redefine a 'home user'. The house

like one in south korea or Estonia, the only
difference is access to high internet speeds. Two of
the Internet users in my home want to increase their
private upload rates or 'seeding rates' at linux
torrents sites (legal by the way) where they are
members, others want to stream video or visit some of
the websites which sort people into dial up and
broadband before you enter them, among other things
i'd list. Home users are not content with just email
checks anymore.

Guys

been silently reading the thread and it kind of highlights the disconnect we have as users. The last email more or less drives it home. The ISP market in UG is open with a number of players offering a variety of products with variable configurations and equally variable pricing. The client should thus understand the offer and choose that particular service that meets his/her requirements. So MTN has chosen that it's products will have a download cap and you have a number of choices. However on the flip side some other providers have non capped products. So it's time the consumer decided on the right march. If MTN have made a judgement problem the market will let them know. But do not blame them if you knowingly pick their product with the limitations they have told you about and then turn around and say " I was robbed".
