You can forget about CDMA, to my knowledge they are not selling it anymore ... maybe you can find a second hand
I just give you my experience with MTN GPRS : *Equipment Acquisition: 285 000 (USB Modem or PCMCIA) **+ 270 000 deposit refundable only after one year of contract + 55000 subscripiton fee Monthly Subscription: *90 000 for an unlimited service *Mobility: *Working from almost everywhere, at least everywhere where you can catch the network in good condition! *Compatibility:* Working on Windows and Mac OS X, I believe Linux should not be a problem! Not yet tried on my Debian ... However : speed is relatively low, access can be problematic at certain hours (peak of voice traffic), some protocol are sometimes simply not working (FTP, for instance not available since 3 days!) ... i'm expecting that they "upgrade" us to wimax but not coming yet ! strange ... :-)
