(Wauw this is technical, man, far out. the last time i 'debugged' the IX, we used this page http://hosting.mountbatten.net/mouse.html and then ran to see the result here: http://stats.uixp.co.ug/ You could really see the effect, very funny.) (BTW, that page is showing considerable different stats than last month. Obviously, the traffic flows in the country have changed a lot, but MTN for example was pumping between 1 and 2 MB into and out of the IX 6 weeks ago, a lot compared to the meagre 200k they are doing right now) BTW, our customers (and MTN's) are rather desperate, which i think is very understandable after more than 24 hours without email. We will start advising them to call you guys directly now, so hang in there. rgds, Reinier On Friday 28 September 2007 09:08:48 Reinier wrote: > > Hi Mike (and others giving feedback), > > good to see that the mailinglist concept indeed works very swift and efficient > with lots of peoples input. > > I dont mind personally to abuse this list for UIxp issues, i know we would > bother some people enjoying their 20MB abroadband connection with our local > twittering (wouldnt that be the hip word these days?), so i felt a bit > reluctant initially, and tried to go the more-or-less official ways of > contacting both involved ISP's. > > At the time of writing, the datanet to MTN connection was already working, but > from MTN to datanet (as rob is posting elsewhere) route was still a bit > bumpy. > > and there still seems to be an issue, which is affecting my clients.
