What do folks think about reiser file system in comparison to ext3. The original developer, Mr. Hans Reiser is in jail awaiting conviction for the murder of his wife, and he had already abandoned reiser3 to work on reiser4 which I believe has failed to make it to the linux kernel to date. Novell no longer have it as the default fs on SuSE. Red Hat Enterprise and CentOS do not even support it.
