In all honesty this would be a great project to put Uganda on the map
as far as IT potential
How much work are we talking about?
I think the talent is in country .....
The problem is ;
1) This is a long term project (You can say 5 - 7 years
commitment ... at least two kernels)
2) Its a labour of love (I cannot see where the money is ... unless
its donations ... or get a core sponsor ... private or govt )
3) Is the code and documentation for reiserfs4 available?
Maybe those who teach at MUK or Other great Ugandan institutions of
higher education can make it a recurring course/project so they can
get free guaranteed labour year in and year out :-)

According to some sources, nobody is maintaining it anymore and it
