Does anyone know of an iphone in Uganda on any of the networks operational?

yes, but just saying it is crap without reasons to back up his statement
means nothing.

for example, he may not love the fact that it has a 2MP camera compared
to the N95 with a 5 megapixel camera - to him, the phone will therefore
be crap. To me that cares less if a phone has a camera or not, its otherwise.
