For UTL, wvdial.conf would look something like:
/etc/wvdial.conf
[Dialer Defaults]
Modem = /dev/modem # <= or /dev/ttyUSB0
Baud = 230400 # <= important
Dial Command = ATDT
Initzl = ATZ
Phone = #777
Username = [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Password = password
Stupid Mode 1
#New PPPD = yes

http://mtn.co.ug/MTN-Products/MTNinternet/Personal/MTN-Mobile-Internet.aspx
The HUAWEI MTN GPRS Modem works well under Mac OS X Leopard.
No prizes for guessing the speeds... Slooooow...

rain, but He did promise
strength for the day, comfort for the tears, and light for the way.
