A colleague in Arua, Uganda is trying to get internet connectivity using his MacBook laptop. One of his options is a "UTL CDMA"device.

In Mountbatten.net FAQs, I saw that there is a way to get this device to work under Linux. I wrote to the folks at Mountbatten.net and they referred me to you saying that there were a number of Mac users on this list.

Does anyone know how to get a "UTL CDMA" device to work with a Mac running OS X 10.4.x or 10.5.x? If so, what does he need to do to get it up and running?

I have no idea who his service provider is but whoever it is has been no help.

Thanks for any help.

Bob Allen
