It is the fact that someone else determines what I/you can run on my/
your machine (iPad/iPod/iPhone) and what not. The iPad is supporting a
trend moving towards limitation of freedom. Sorry that I value
freedom..... (I am just surprised to see that people sacrifice freedom
so easily).
Making money, good. Social responsibility and respect for other
voices, better. Making money while creating a free/fair world, best.
Just making money is what Don Corleone did.

From a lot of forums and blogs it seems as if the oss community is
mad at apple coz they didnt make their product in the spirit of
openness and collaboration. Well that spirit also make no money and
apple is essentially in the business of making money.
