By my count thats the 3-4 IP changes in as many years for Bushnet/Datanet? Must be that new super secure, ultra modern non-natted networking technology their running?
P.S. Time to invest in an IP Block? They gave us less than 48 hours notice of this change and we dont have time to prepare the shift of the 60 or so websites that we are running anything better than a manual change of DNS records. One consequence of this is that the linux.or.ug website will not be available from the moment we change the DNS records of our server for 24 hours or more (we just found, broadband is taking up to 2 weeks to update their DNS records). We can not express how much we regret this cause of action and we have done everything in our power to prevent this change of configuration. If people have any suggestions on making this as smooth for everyone as possible, then feel free to make suggestions. -- rgds, Reinier Battenberg Director Mountbatten Ltd. +256 758 801 749 www.mountbatten.net _______________________________________________ LUG mailing list [email protected] http://kym.net/mailman/listinfo/lug LUG is generously hosted by INFOCOM http://www.infocom.co.ug/ All Archives can be found at http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ The above comments and data are owned by whoever posted them (including attachments if any).
