Richard,

You can't be serious!! If the begginer can use Ubuntu, why does he want
pirated XP? Are you giving him the right advice? If he is a begginner,
he definetely does not know the difference between the two except for
what you have told him. Let him begin with Ubuntu and he will never wish
Windows. On the other hand you can install Ubuntu and give it a Windows
XP look and behaviuor a la http://ubuntu.online02.com/node/14 . I did it
for a friend and now his boss wants the entire office of 15+ computers
converted to this Xp themed Ubuntu.

I have also done the MACOsx look with very pleasing results, see
http://ubuntuguide.net/install-mac-os-x-theme-mac4lin-in-ubuntu-9-10karmic and
http://seoroot.com/blog/ubuntu-linux/mac4lin-theme-and-compiz-fusion-on-ubuntu-64.html
 .

You can also do this
http://www.ubuntugeek.com/how-to-make-windows-look-like-ubuntu.html to
get used to the Ubuntu idea, if you are a conservative windoist who has
Ubuntu sympathyies....but I dont recommend it.

That is the nearest I would go to installing anything Windows on a
computer now. If you need support to implement it, call my WARID line to
fix an appointment.

Thanks

Chris
