Has anyone ever come across this
I am trying to make a 2008 Server a DC in an Existing 2003 Domain
When I run dcpromo it goes well until the last step then I get the error
The Operation Failed Because:
A domain controller could not be contacted for the domain <DOMAIN
NAME> that contained an account name for this computer. Make the
computer a member of a workgroup then rejpin the domain before
retrying the promotion.
"Access Denied."
I have tried as much as I can after that and still nothing improves...
Any help would be appreciated.
