My oh My, how lazy can you be: 1000 jobs for sharepoint http://jobsearch.monster.com/PowerSearch.aspx?q=sharepoint&rad=20&rad_units=miles&tm=60&dv=
(i thought sharepoint was more like intranet/document management software to share documents, like knowledgetree or nuxeo, or drupal based, openatrium. Not sure I have seen a lot of public sharepoint sites. So mentioning them in comparison with drupal/wp/joommla is like saying: eh, lots of oracle people in demand as well.) (and yes, i read the homepage http://sharepoint.microsoft.com/en- us/Pages/default.aspx "Microsoft SharePoint 2010 makes it easier for people to work together. Using SharePoint 2010, your people can set up Web sites to share information with others, manage documents from start to finish, and publish reports to help everyone make better decisions." which is not something the other 3 do as their main goal. -- rgds, Reinier Battenberg Director Mountbatten Ltd. +256 758 801 749 www.mountbatten.net On Thursday 02 September 2010 19:14:11 Mugarura Cavin wrote: > Reinier, > > i agree with you, the demand for Drupal jobs is high, and will keep rising. > (You can also earn $ 9.5 million like the firm which redesigned > recovery.gov(a drupal site) - need any further motivation to jump on > the drupal ship) > if you had added Sharepoint in your research, (we both know what the > figures would have been) > by the way, a web developer, should not be limited to > Drupal/Wordpress/Joomla (since they are cousins) (There is no harm in being > an expert at all), but of course, thats not my decision to make, some > people can decide to specialize, which is perfect. > > __________________________________________ > > Wordpress 122 jobs in the US > Joomla: 77 Jobs in the US > Whoo: Drupal: 154 Jobs in the US! > > ___________________________________ > > > > 'A LOTTERY IS A TAX ON PEOPLE WHO DON’T UNDERSTAND STATISTICS!!' _______________________________________________ LUG mailing list [email protected] http://kym.net/mailman/listinfo/lug LUG is generously hosted by INFOCOM http://www.infocom.co.ug/ All Archives can be found at http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ The above comments and data are owned by whoever posted them (including attachments if any).
