Thanx for your replies guys, but here is the thing the between the DSL
router and the IDU is where the switch lies. Reason why its
there....i'll need to get in touch with my ISP and ask why he put it
there. Apparently he and my client had tried the 10/100Mps switch way
before we had signed on the contract to provide support to my client.
Baldwin you maight have a point. It could be a duplex mismatch on the
IDU. I'll raise that with my ISPs techie who is coming over in about
an hour. Yes i can ping my router. I'll try eliminating that switch
and use my machine and if i'll register any success in connecting to
the outside. The other thing i was planning is to ask my ISP for the
ODU's IP that i see if i can reach it.
