I already altered all those settings in configuration.php but its still occuring

in the configuration.php i think there is a setting for the URL of the
website. On your laptop that probably read http://localhost/mywebsite when you
upload, you need to rewrite it to the full path of your public website.
(there are a few other settings that might do this as well, like the /tmp
folder)
