Had this been a query on whether water is wet or dry, whoever says "it depends where you pour it might win"!
A basic end-user has no need for the CLI. Most of us who run around with putty, psftp, etc are often nicknamed "PING" by such users. Give any fairly experienced (2 years) person a system without such "black tools" and their performance rate will be highly affected. Just like the notion that why would a UNIX Administrator have or use an MS laptop / system. Depending on who it is, the choices are there for the take. We can't blame it on MS coming around fast. It is how fast we can close the distance. A server with or without the GUI... it all depends on why, and whether the admin / installer is doing his thing right. # Edmonds On Mon, Jul 2, 2012 at 5:01 PM, Jake Markhus <[email protected]> wrote: > There is this new thing called PowerShell that is fast catching up with > the likes of Bash and Ksh but the > problem is, the current crop of windows users are feeble.
