Superficially yes, but their demise, or rather their hitherto lack of it, implies that they are doing *something* right, even if the rest is all so horribly wrong. Since there are a lot of open source initiatives—Ugandan and otherwise—which is the inverse of Yahoo! in as much as they have brilliant ideas but don't fare as well as they should, unveiling Yahoo!'s secret could very well be the key to lift-off for a lot of projects.
