Dear Lug, I have been looking at a number of discussions talking about the best distro (flavor) for Learners, specifically students crossing over from Ms Win Environment. >From the different readings, I have come to note that the biggest contender is one of Ubuntu 13.04, Mint 15, Zorin Os, Pinguy OS 12.04 and elementary OS Luna. I have only extensively used Mint 15 but I wouldn't want my experience to bias my decision, that is why am seeking your support in this. I have a bad feeling for Win-Like-Linux distros as they keep the person in the windows thinking even when in Linux, however i cannot refute the fact that they are easy in transferring people from Win. I would gladly listen to any pointers from some one who has had experience with such issues even though the suggestion is not among the listed above! -- Stay Blessed Mayengo Tom Kizito <KTM> +256752602550 || +256782062708
