For those who may not know, Pinus radiata is Monterey Pine, native to the West Coast of California in a small area know as the Monterey Peninsula. It was exported to Australia a number of years ago where it has flourished and provided for the major portion of that country's commercial lumber. So not everything man touches turns to crapola as some would have us all believe.
