>Hi Herb, Do you use a nail file on your fingertips? I find that sometimes the skin gets rough or the whorls on the tips get coarse and I need to file the skin smooth. After filing I use a lubricant like bag balm or Aquaphor to keep the skin supple. The idea is to get a clean smooth release of your fingertip from the string.
