I am sending this again, since I had a "forbidden" word in my first attempt!

If you can visit a library that has access to Early English Books Online
(EEBO), you can download a complete facsimile of the 1597 printing as a PDF
file.

Indeed, with EEBO, you can download facsimiles of most English books printed
before 1800 (and some - I am not sure how many - until 1900).

The facsimiles appear to be taken from microfilm, so vary in quality. Just
about all are good enough for transcription.
I would not use them as reproductions / facsimiles in, say, a published paper
or book.

Subject: [LUTE] Morleys Canzonets with lute 1597

Dear all,

As you know, I am trying to collect sources for voice and lute.
I have discovered in Brown's book "instrumental music printed before
1600" an entry with lute accompaniment I was not aware of.

It is marked as:

1597[10] "Canzonets or little short aers to five and sixe voices"

I have looked on the internet for a facsimile or a modern edition
with lute tablature of this book with no success. Anyone can help?

I take this opportunity to thank all of you that are helping me on my
search. My initial list of missin sources is decreasing thanks to you!!

best wishes,

Alfonso Marin
