Years ago I learned how to read a table of offsets from the book Sensible Cruising Designs by L. Francis Herreschoff. From such a table one can scale a boat hull (or lute bowl) to any size. It's a useful skill to have. But I think I'll avoid building a lapstrake or clinker built lute.
