The question I would have is what type of mandolins?  Did the editors 
impose their own fingerings, etc?  The modern g-d'-a'-e'' Neapolitan type 
is quite a bit different from the [g]-b-e'-a'-d''-g''. lute-like thing 
Vivaldi almost certainly had in mind.
