Given the editorial history of these pieces, one
has a right, even if overly doubtful, to be doubtful.
And perhaps they are doubtful, in any case.
Though for a real opera imagina, look at the
"Siena Pianoforte" recording of Scarlatti and Mozart jacket notes.
Anyway, what would be cool is to simply have all
the facsimiles for all of those pieces available on the internet, 'cause they
aren't going away :)
They could be stored in the tubes.
Many voices would be saved. Well, some.
And the originals may be, doubtful.
And whose idea was it to make piano versions?
Hire the lutes!

In any event, first, here is the "authentic" vocal score you are
asking about. There are copies at the public libraries in
Rotterdam and
in Amsterdam. But call ahead to make sure. (None in The Hague, as
far as I know.)
