Hi Andrew,

I used some holly for pegwood quite a few years ago, and though it worked, 
it was a bit fragile - I should have cut the heads thicker. The main 
disadvantage (and its main interest) with holly for anything, is that it 
needs to be converted soon after cutting if it is to remain white. White 
pegs I had, but they soon became grey because I insisted on touching them...
