If you can afford an outage, you can metaclear the old devices and remake them the same way and new size will be set.
metaclear only remove the configuration, not the actually data. This is not without risk though, the soft partition gap can grow from one revision of solaris to another. so use at your own risk :-) This message posted from opensolaris.org
