Why is this a category? IMO a simple page should do.

I don't think so. We hardly even have ChangeLog files in the tarballs,
release notes in the wiki will add even more work for the developers and
it is very likely that the information in the wiki will be inaccurate
and outdated, if not missing.

I think we recently agreed on removing redundant names recently, didn't
we? If you really want this page, please name it
http://wiki.lxde.org/en/Releases. And we only should have that page if
there really are people taking care of it.

We already have the version numbers on the components pages. What
additional information could a wiki page contain?
