i'm sorry but i don't really agree...
i know several people (including me) that hate the kde4 way, and has
been "pushed" to others DE like gnome, when they really loved kde3). The
reason that any way, no other DE is doing it, and the thing that not
even windows (that even if we don't like is anyway the most used OS)
chosed a similar way to work with the desktop, is IMHO something the
confirm my theory.. kde4 plasma desktop can even be something really
revolutionary, but we are not ready (or we don't want it) for that yet.
