Lxterminal is a single-instance software.

If you open a second tab, but also a second window, or even if you
relaunch it, it doesn't get loaded again, but the existing instance is
used.

I don't know about xterm and wterm, but I think this could save a lot of
RAM when you have multiple windows open.

Besides that, it is much easier to configure fonts, colors and
scrollback buffer.
