This means one has to rewrite it for Qt 5. There is one type of applications 
which has lots of work on going to Qt 5 and that are window managers. I just 
had a look into the event handling code, it's obviously completely XLib based 
and has non-English comments. So with my window manager developer experience I 
would not recommend to fork the code base.
