To be honest, on an emotional level, I do like LXQt more than my suggestion of LQDE. It feels catchier and I think the lowercase "t" makes it more visually appealing than something that's purely uppercase. So the upsides to LXQt so far are: - LXQt feels catchier (even if, like me, you insist on pronouncing "Qt" as "cue-tee" because "cute" is "a little too cute" to take seriously.) - LXQt looks nicer - LXQt can act as a portmanteau of "LXDE" and "Razor-Qt" ...and the downsides are: - The X in LXQt stands for X11 and Wayland is on the way. - It's harder to concisely explain what it means (compared to a pure acronym like LQDE) > > 2c > >> >>> J.
