Dear LXQt folks,

I am exciting about the LXQt 0.8 release. Debian Jessie, the next stable
version of Debian, is going to be frozen on November 5th this year [1],
which is in about two months. I saw that there is an ITP (intent to
package) bug already submitted from Andrew from May [2].

Andrew, do you think it is still realistic to get LXQt into Debian
Jessie? That’d be awesome considering the problems with LXDE and the
current stable release Debian Wheezy, where, if I remember correctly,
available newer versions with important bug fixes could not be included.

Thanks,

Paul
