Leclanche I want to drop Qt4 too, but if there are critical bugs in 0.8, I'm willing to fix them for Qt4 and make 0.8.1 for it. Only providing 0.8.x patch releases for critical bugs found in Qt4 build won't waste too much development resource I think. Qt 4 is well tested and is stable. Some people may still keep using it for a while. Though 0.8 may be the last version that supports Qt4 officially, I hope that we can "maintain' it "to some degree". Some users who are still using Qt4 may want to provide patches to fix some bugs, too. Some of these fixes may also benefit Qt 5, so it's better if we don't refuse fixing Qt4 bugs for 0.8. IMHO, no new features, but *critical* bugs should be fixed and patches should be accepted for the Qt4 support. (we can ignore minor bugs) What do you think?
